Mom, Charles, Dad

From since I can remember, I have had a love of books, reading, and studying, and organizing the treasures I found along the way.  My grandmother Minnie C. Whisnant, challenged me to read the Bible from Genesis to Revelation in one year.  She said she would give me $5.00.  I was thirteen years old, and $5.00 was a lot.  I began reading the Bible and for the next forty years I continued to read and study the Word.

As a pastor/teacher, my church library was priority. I started with my dad's library in 1966.  In 1971 was my first church to pastor, and I added a pastor's library.  In 1980 I had a church library, and a pastor's library (Kurt Nunnenamp built book cases) at FBC  in Altoona, I had over 3000 books.  Many of those books I left with FBC.

Today I have a fewer number of books, but still over 1000 books.  Thanks to the Internet you have books on websites.

My desire is to bring a clearer and deeper understanding of God's Word into lives of others in the 21st Century.  Christ commanded us to "go out and disciple". He knew at this time in history we would have the technology that would create a VAST avenue to spread His Truth.

So "going out" only takes a few clicks on a computer and millions can be reached!  HOW AMAZING IS THAT?

Please join me as I continue to read, study, pray and seek what God would have me share.
